

Arthur H. Boyle went to his eternal rest at his home on April 4, 2017 surrounded by family. Art leaves behind his wife, Diane Boucher Boyle of Boca Raton, FL., his former wife, Camille P. Boyle of Hull, mother of his eight children. Also, Deceased Brother, Matthew I. Boyle and wife Audrey of Topsfield, MA. Virginia M Hoynes and deceased husband Jim of Winnetka, IL. Georgeianne B. Ellis of Chicago, IL. Arthur’s eight children are Peter Boyle, deceased, Arthur P. and Judy Boyle of Hingham and their 13 children, Robert P. Boyle of Nashua, NH and his 3 Children, Kathleen M. Tetreault and her deceased husband, Mark of Weymouth and their three children, Richard and Judy Boyle of Weymouth and their 2 children, Michael and Colleen Boyle of Wells, ME. and their 3 children, Daniel and Lori Boyle of San Diego and their daughter, Stephen and Judy Boyle of Northborough and their 2 children. Arthur leaves 27 grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. Also, two devoted sisters in Chicago area; Virginia and her five children and Georgianne and her three children.
Art Boyle graduated BC High in 1952. He served in the US Navy for three years on an Air Craft Carrier before entering Northeastern University and it’s Civil Engineering program. After graduating he started a 30-year career with the New England Telephone Company. He then went to work on the Big Dig for the Gillette Co. as the Clerk of the Works for 12 years.
Arthur was a tremendous athlete that excelled in baseball, football and later on hockey where he played in men’s leagues culminating as a proud member of the Quincy Bald Eagles until the age of 80. An avid golfer, Arthur fondly recalled his many wonderful friends and competitive matches at the Boca Greens Country Club where he was a member for 11 years and played every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, running the Wednesday program. He was extremely active with all sports activities including biking with many neighbors and loved both the company and competition. Arthur loved to dance and cherished his time with his loving and devoted wife Diane. He will be sorely missed until we see him again in his eternal glory.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL, 33428, from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. A Mass of the Christian Burial be held following the viewing at 12 Noon at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 10300 Yamato Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33498. Burial with Military Honors will immediate follow Mass at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL
