Barbara Moffat Voorhees

Barbara Moffat Voorhees, born January 11, 1940, in Jersey City, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025 at the age of 85. At the time of her passing, Barbara resided in Boca Raton, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of love laughter, and adventure that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

Barbara was a devoted wife, a role she embraced wholeheartedly alongside her husband, Kenneth G. Voorhees, who predeceased her. Her family was the center of her world, and she was an adoring Grandmother who brought joy and warmth to every family gathering. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a loyal friend to many, always offering a listening ear and a kind word.

A woman of beauty inside and out, Barbara's presence was magnetic. She was known for her humor and loving nature, always ready to share a laugh or a comforting hug.

Her adventurous spirit took her around the world, where she collected not just souvenirs but experiences and friendships that enriched her life. A professional shopper, she had a keen eye for style and a knack for finding the perfect gift for loved ones.

Barbara's memory will be lovingly carried forward by her Children, Kenneth G. Voorhees III, Stephanie Voorhees Hakes and Candace Voorhees Clark, her Brother , Micheal Moffat as well as her Grandchildren, Payton Hakes, Haley Hakes, Regan Hakes, Dylan Hakes, Lily Voorhees, Garretson Voorhees, Porter Clark and Charlotte Clark. Each will remember her as a constant source of love and support, her presence a guiding light in their lives.

To honor Barbara's life, a Celebration of Life will be held on May 6, 2025, from 5 -7 pm at the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club. Friend and Family are invited to gather and share memories of a life well-lived, remembering Barbara's enduring spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.
