Benjamin Guy Buchanan

Benjamin Guy Buchanan, 23, of Boca Raton, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Boynton Beach Florida on November 3rd, 1991, the son of Bill and Sandy Buchanan. Ben was a talented Artist and athlete. He approached everything he did with passion and creativity. Gifted in illustration, Ben designed and produced his own skateboard line. Athletically, Ben had his own unique style, and was a great teammate. He loved to spend time on his board riding the waves, whether surfing or skating. Beloved by all, he was a supportive “big brother” to everyone who crossed his path.

Ben attended Boca Elementary School, Bak Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, and Boca Community High School. After attending Florida State Community College of Jacksonville, Ben came into his own at The School of Drafting at Atlantic Technical College, where he discovered a career that could combine his love of the Arts with design. Ben is survived by his parents, Bill and Sandy of Boca Raton. His older sisters, Bonnie Soren of Chicago, Illinois and Sarah of Miami. Ben is also survived by his maternal Grandfather Harry Sorenson of Lake Lure, North Carolina, his girlfriend Natalie Stumpf and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at SonCoast Community Church on Thursday, October 22nd, at 1PM.
