It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our precious Brooke aka Tink to her parents, Brookie to her siblings, and Tia to her nieces and nephews. Brooke was truly once in a lifetime. She was an old soul with a pure heart. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She lived with love in her heart and shared that love with all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Arleen and Jim Bailey; her older siblings, Amber, Patrick, and AJ; her grandfather, Antonio; her sister-in-law, Sarina; her brother-in-law, Danny; and her nieces and nephews, Avery, Avianna, Addison, Zoey, Zach, Ashton, Arwyn, and Daniel.
Brooke danced with the moon and played in the stars. She overflowed with love like a rose bush in bloom but was as delicate as a dew drop on a thorn. She felt everything deeply, unabashedly, and completely in tune with all the emotions. Her smile brought joy and peace, her laughter could shake the fabric of time. To know Brooke was to be a part of her, and a part of her lives on in the lives she touched.
Brooke was a beautiful little thing. A little bit of heaven and a touch of hell. She was an intellectual, an artist, a writer, a student, an educator, a sister, a daughter. And to say that she was eclectic would do no justice to express the intricacies of her life.
She was there for us when no one else had faith in our redemption. And her faith never wavered. This world didn’t deserve her. And she deserved only happiness. We will miss her as the cold earth misses the sun’s embrace.
To our dearest Brooke, shine on you crazy diamond. We love you, always.
