Carmine Salvemini

Carmine Salvemini 79 of Boca Raton, FL and Jersey City, NJ passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Carmine was born in the province of Bari, town of Molfetta, Italy on April 23, 1927 a son of the late Iganazio and Madellena Salvemini. He arrived in America with nothing and worked as a construction worker prior to long career as a self-made home builder. Surviving Carmine is his loving wife Grace of 64 years, His children Joseph (Dorie), Teresa (Mike McCarthy) and David (Laura), grandchildren; Vanessa Allen, Edward Allen, Megan Salvemini, Brandon Salvemini and Devi-Anne Salvemini, great-granddaughters; Graciella Toledo and Carmella Sauro, a sister Margaret, and 2 brothers, Saverio and Michael. Also surviving are 6 nieces, 9 nephews and their immediate families, including grandnieces and nephews. Carmine loved his family and dedicated his life to them. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33432. A wake service will begin at 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Alzheimers Association in Carmine's name.
