Carol was a woman whose compassion knew no bounds. Affectionately known by many as “America’s Aunt,” she had a rare gift for making everyone feel like family. Warm, selfless, and deeply caring, Carol consistently placed the needs of others before her own and offered friendship and kindness wherever she went.
Grounded in her strong Catholic faith, Carol was a devoted member of her church choir for many years, lifting her voice in song and her community in spirit. Her faith guided the way she lived- with generosity, humility, and love.
Carol found great joy in creating. Whether she was baking something delicious to share, carefully scrapbooking cherished memories, or sewing with remarkable talent, her hands were rarely still. She lovingly made Halloween costumes for her family over the years, a tradition that reflected both her creativity and the quiet ways she showed her love, and more recently, beautifully tailored wedding dresses. Nothing made her happier than using her gifts to bring joy to others.
Above all, Carol will be remembered as an extraordinary friend, aunt, and sister, the kind of person people could depend on without hesitation. Her compassion left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Though she is no longer with us, Carol’s compassion, generosity, and acts of love will continue to ripple through the lives she touched, reminding us all to care for one another as she so beautifully did.
She is survived by her brother Michael; sisters Laura and Joan; sister-in-law Karen, nephews Michael, JJ, Matthew and Vinny; and nieces Krissy, Elizabeth, Selena, and Melissa. She was preceded in death by father Guido; mother Louise; sister-in-law Karen; and brothers-in-law Joe and Max.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 27th, 2026 at 10:00 am at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
