

Domenick D. Suppa, 92, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 8, 2016, on the feast day of St. Dominic. He was born February 6, 1924 in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Antonio and Lucy Salerno Suppa. Domenick served in the Amy during WWII as a Corporal. He was employed as Foreman at The Standard News Co. in Stamford, CT. Domenick retired to FL and devoted many years to the local AARP. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Domenick is survived by his daughter Cathy (John) Ciaccio of Baton Rouge, LA, his son Anthony (Phyllis) Suppa, grandchildren Sage Suppa, Sasha Suppa (Brian Castellucci,) Andrew and Catherine Ciaccio, great granddaughter Alexa Ciaccio and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his dearest friend Mary Zitzelberger and her loving family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by Irene, his wife of 58 years, his daughter Carolyn, his brother Frank Suppa, his sisters Sylvia Sapia-Vinci, Gilda Suppa and Theresa Lucia. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 22094 Lyons Road, Boca Raton on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 200 West Copano Road, Pompano Beach, FL.
