Happy Birthday Dad! Its been a while since I left a message, but you know how much I think about you. I love telling stories about you! Toby, your great grandson is 4 and you would have loved him to pieces, like you did his dad, Jimmy. Keep watching over us all-especially Mom. She misses you so much. Love you forever! 

We Believe, Dad  it's no accident the Cubbies won Game 6 on All Saint's Day and last night (central time), All Soul's Day, our Chicago Boys in Blue, White, and Red fought hard in Game 7 to stay on top in the 10th to crush the 108-year curse and WIN THE WORLD SERIES! We know you and all the Heavenly die-hard Cubs fans saw the historic baseball game from Above. Here, Jimbo wore your hat, Jordan screamed like the 17-year-old girl she is, and your flowers were, well, we were trying not to have heart attacks during the epic rollercoaster ride! Go, Cubs, Go  Next Year is NOW, a Sweet 2016! Miss you Dad, always!

Hey, Hey, Hey, Dad! The Cubs really gave you a belated but Heavenly 88th Birthday present with their win last night, and so they're advancing into the World Series! I bet you remember the last time they were in it, back in 1945 -- you were 17! We know you'll be cheering them on from Heaven to World Series Champs! Go, Cubs, Go! (P.S. Here we are three years after your passing and another Birthday, Dad! You would be 87 today! I know in heaven age is timeless-lucky you, ha! Happy 86th Birthday Daddy! ...I wonder if you have birthday cake in heaven?!? I am sure you are with all family and friends from your lifetime celebrating with unspeakable joy the glory of God. I hope you heard young boy's concert that he put together for his church. Such an awesome production! I am sure you were as proud as we were. My comfort is knowing you are at peace and with God. Happy Father's Day, Dad! I was thinking about you especially yesterday when I was getting a card for Uncle Bob. I remember I used to look for "handy man" type cards for you for Father's Day, because you, of course, were always fixing something, building something. Fortunately, there were usually plenty of those cards to choose from -- after golf and barbecue cards, that is! I miss you, I love you always! XXOO

Hi Dad,   Today marks your 2nd anniversary of going home to God! You are still an influence and part of our every day life. James calls out to you when trying to complete a home project that involves tools and measuring, LOL!! I think of your quick wit and infectious smile. I still recall Mr. Lajewski as a jovial man, tolerant  of his children's formative ups and downs. I never saw him much except on weekend's when being part of his son Fred's band of white room hippie revolutionaries would ascend from the family basement disheveled from our revelries. My condolences to Fred and Camille.

It's been almost a year and yet it feels like you are still here with us. I think of you often and hope you are enjoying the eternal peace, happiness and love that only Heaven and being with God can bring. Please watch over us all and help us daily until God calls us to be with you. I love you!

Twenty-four years and one day after Uncle Fred walked me down the aisle of St. Theresa church in Phoenix, he walked another path directly to eternal happiness with our Lord, Jesus Christ.  May this eternal happiness bring comfort to Aunt JoAnn, Fritz, Camille, and Heather and their families.

Dear Aunt JoAnn, 
The news of Uncle Fred's passing brought sorrow and sadness. He will truly be missed.  I will always remember him as a "favorite" Uncle who impacted and influenced my life in many wonderful and positive ways.  I have many fond memories,  especially those early and formative years while growing up in Chicago and then later as I would visit Florida where as a family we would gather for holidays and visits.  His trademark smile, sense of humor, expressions, ever present laughter and the forever "twinkle" in his eye are memories I will always keep dear.    Just being around him made me feel good and he always showed a sincere and keen interest in the lives of those around him. I am grateful for his love and encouragement. Devout in his faith, I'm sure he now shares and celebrates it with the Lord in Heaven.  His charismatic and loving vibe lives on through the memories, stories and photographs left behind that remind us of a life well lived.  Uncle Fred touched many lives as he lived his and mine is forever better for having been his Nephew.  My condolences to You, Camille, Heather, Fritz, James and Jimmy.  Rest peacefully Uncle Fred, God Bless You and I'll be looking for you on my wing.

My deepest sympathies in the loss of your husband and father. What a great send off you gave him. He would have been proud of the services at both the church and at the VA Cemetery. He is smiling today. A reflection of a life well lived serving God, his country and others. Your loss is Heaven's gain.
