Fred Konstand, US Navy WWII Veteran, 91, passed on December 31st, 2011. Born and resided in Akron, OH, lived in Wellington, FL coming from Gainesville, FL. His illustrious career as a Real Estate Developer included Summit Mall, Akron, OH and The Gainesville Hilton just to name a few. He was a member of numerous organization including Shriners and AHEPA.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Vasila; his children, William (Janet) and Karen; his grandchildren, William (Stacy), Fred, Nicholas and Jill; and great granddaughter, Kylie.
Family will receive friends at Babione Funeral Home, West Chapel on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5th at noon with burial to follow on the grounds of the VA South Florida National Cemetery.
