

In Florida, on September 3rd 2016, Frederick Ivory Gautzsch Jr lost his life piloting a plane over the Atlantic Ocean. His passion was flying. He was originally from Philadelphia, and was the son of late Frederick Ivory Gautzsch Sr and Anne Morgan. Fred settled in Quebec Canada where he lived for 34 years. He was remarried to Marie Bergeron. Fred and Marie shared many friends, traveled together and returned to live in his original hometown of Philadelphia in 1994 where he was a language teacher, prior to retiring and moving to Boca Raton, Florida in 2012. His last 4 years were spent celebrating life to the fullest enjoying his family, friends, flying, swimming and everything in-between.
He leaves his beloved wife Marie Bergeron, his son Alexander from Laval, Quebec (Natacha Vigneault) and his daughter Renée from Calgary, Alberta (Boaz Shilmover), his step-daughter Chantal Carter (Marc-Andre Bineau) from Laval, Quebec, his grandchildren; Alexandre Jr. and Matthieu Gautzsch, Noah, Benjamin and Zachary Shilmover, and Angele Bineau. He also leaves his sister Elaine Edmands from Philadelphia as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and the US.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Babione – Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL, 33432.
