Raised in Sturtevant, WI he joined the Navy and became an engineer. He joined the Launch Control team at Cape Canaveral becoming part of history when his efforts helped land the first men safely on the moon. In later years he opened Design 4 Engineering, working from home until reluctantly retiring in January.
A true athlete and Green Bay Packer fan he loved new adventures, a good joke and traveling with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine and leaves behind their three children: Karen Tussler, Kyle Tussler (wife Cecilia), and Julie Lagasse (husband Peter); two grandchildren, Timothy Sullivan, and Regann Denton (husband Judge); and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30PM on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Babione Funeral Home, West Chapel.
