Born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 2, 1941, James led a life marked by unwavering service to his community as a proud officer with the New York Police Department. His commitment to justice and protection touched the lives of many throughout his career.
James was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Magrone, and is remembered with love by his family. He was a loving husband and a cherished uncle. His warmth, and generosity of spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Madelyn, his family and friends,who will hold him in their hearts forever.
