Jo-Ann C. Neu

24 juin 194310 septembre 2011

Jo-Ann was born on June 24, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey to Alphonse and Catherine Fabricatore. After only a few years of courting she married the love of her life, Alex Neu. They raised a beautiful family together and enjoyed the fruits of their labor. Jo-Ann worked for the airlines as a flight attendant and Alex was successfully engaged in his own business. They moved their family from Watchung, New Jersey over 30 years ago to Boca Raton, FL. They saw the town flourish and their children grow into young adults. After a short battle with stomach cancer, Jo-Ann finally succumbed to her disease on September 10, 2011 surrounded by her family. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years, Alex; her daughter and son-in-law, Natalie Neu and Jeffrey Novak; son, Gregory Neu; and grandson, Jeremy Neu. No services are arranged at this time. The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to American Cancer Society in Jo-Ann's memory. Donations may be mailed to: American Cancer Society P.O. Jo-Ann and I shared many years of tennis at Boca Bath. All of us on the teams loved and laughed with her offers of "coffee",food, and her ever- present generosity of spirit. Natalie was like a second daughter to me, and I send my sincerest condolences and sympathy to her and the entire family.

I will never forget Jo-Ann and her beautiful and her very special spirit. Whether it was playing tennis or laughing together on our trips to Mexico we always had a wonderful time together. This past June in Boca I spent time with Jo-Ann and she drove me around and was her usual generous and helpful self. People like Jo-Ann don't come along very often and I will miss her with a very heavy heart. My deepest sympathy to her family. Lynn Nichols
