

John Lloyd Wilderman, 57, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home. John was born on May 24, 1958 in Newburgh, NY a son of the late Jack Wilderman and Doris Hummel. He graduated from Boca Raton High School in 1976 and went on to earn a Bachelors of Business Administration at Florida Atlantic University. John owned and operated Down To Earth Landscaping for over 20 years until he could no longer work due to disability brought on by Multiple Sclerosis. John was a long time member of Spanish River Presbyterian Church and was also active in the Celebrate Recovery Men’s Group sponsored by First United Methodist Church. He also participated in the local South Florida Chapter of the National MS Society where he helped others afflicted by this disease. One of John’s greatest joys was volunteering in the classroom at Addison Mizner Elementary School where he supported and participated in classroom instruction and mentoring young students in the art of chess. He was an avid Miami Marlins and Dolphins fan, accomplished cook, and musician; playing the trumpet and valve trombone in the Boca Raton High School Marching Band (1972 - 1976) as well as the piano to entertain friends and family.
John was a loving father, brother, and uncle to his daughter Jamie Holland (Jonathan), his sisters Vicki Wilderman and Julie Halter, his brother David Wilderman (Susie), his nephews Jason Halter, Clay Wilderman and Kevin Wilderman, and his niece Dorelan Miller and is survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Memorial Services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Spanish River Church, 2400 Yamato Road, Boca Raton FL 33431. Inurnment to immediately follow at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
John was diagnosed in 1990 with MS at the early age of 32 and requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the South Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to help others battling this disease.
