Juanita Pearl Maurer died peacefully at her home on August 25, 2025. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, she lived a long and rich life filled with laughter, nature, and deep devotion to those she loved. As a young woman she played team softball and also excelled at bowling. Her love of sports continued all her life. She also loved animals, including 3 dogs over the years which she took wonderful care of. Bird feeding and watching was her hobby.
Juanita loved people and she was generous and compassionate. She worked proudly till 85 years of age and was a valued employee.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Philip; two daughters, Kathleen Mueller and Jennifer (Ossie) Shakir; granddaughters, Sarah (Lauren), Amy, Emily (Eric), and Laura (Dino). She will also be missed by her 9 great grandchildren as well as dear nieces and nephews.

A committal service will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery, located at 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, FL 33449, on September 8, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.
