

Madison Quinten Hinesley’s life was marked by integrity of character, a passion for service to his country as a career Air Force Officer, extremely proud of his service in Viet Nam, a lover of music at a soul depth, a John Wesley Methodist to the core and a warm, loving family man, deeply admired, respected and beloved by his family and loved ones and his treasured band of brothers - all those whom his life touched. His second career, after 20 years of active duty military and an award of a Distinguished Flying Cross, was at Standard Telephone Company in Cornelia, Georgia, marked by professionalism, distinguished community service and greatly admired leadership in Cornelia United Methodist Church. Quinten will be deeply missed.
Born in Bethlehem, GA in September of 1937, the son of Ernest Lamar Hinesley and Frances Coker Lovern and stepson of John Tinsley Lovern, Quinten had two siblings, Alice Hinton and John Bruce Lovern. He is survived by His loving wife Elizabeth (Bette) Hinesley, his daughters Elizabeth Rhett Toth and husband Tibor, Ashley Lamarr Stevens and her husband Robert Bruce Stevens, grandchildren Allie and Rebekah Wieczorek, JoAnne and Max Stevens, Christian Lukacs and Barbara Hedeg, blessed by treasured step grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Amelia and Lorelei Mader, products of a life lived with grace.
His Services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 13th at First United Methodist of Boca Raton, Florida and also at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 18, 2016 United Methodist Church, Cornelia, Georgia, the family will gather at 9:00 A.M. to receive fiends. Quinten will be laid rest in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring to make donations to honor his memory may do so in lieu of flowers to Cornelia UMC or Boca Raton FUMC. The family is deeply appreciative of the cards, notes, calls, prayers and love extended for our beloved Quinten.
