Maria Pistone 73 of Coral Springs passed away with her daughters by her side on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Maria was born March 6,1943 in Agrigento, Sicily. She came to the United States on October 1, 1960. She was a seamstress her whole life and a strong hardworking woman. God was first and foremost in her life and she attended Mass daily at St. Andrews church in Coral Springs. Family was special to her and she loved them dearly. She is survived by her daughters RoseMarie Avena and Angela Pelose ( Joe), her grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Pelose, Ariana Marie Avena, Alessandra Noelle Avena and Joseph Anthony Pelose, her brothers Alfonso Pistone, Charles Pistone, and Salvatore Pistone and her sister Caterina Massa. Maria was preceded in death by her mother Angelina Pistone, father Alfonso Pistone, brother Joseph Pistone, sister Luigia Infante, and a son-in-law Anthony Avena.
