Patrick Louis Montanaro

Pat married Josephine Zarcone on April 6, 1949. They were blessed with three daughters – Joann, Barbara, and Diann; as was their marriage of 72 years. Eventually, the family found their way to Fort Lauderdale, Florida from New York and finally settled in Boca Raton. In his early years Pat had an “Open Air” market, an auto salvage business and then a food catering business that was supported by Jo and his three daughters. After moving to Florida in 1968, Pat eventually returned to the auto salvage business with Height’s Auto Salvage in Pompano Beach.

Pat had many loves…his family which included his grandchildren and his beloved dog Sheba. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jo, who passed away in 2021. He is survived by his three daughters and their spouses, seven grandchildren and their spouses, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He will forever be in our hearts and missed dearly.

A public visitation will be held at Babione Kraeer Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL, on October 18, 2025, from 8:30 am to 9:15 am.

A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, located at 370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton, FL, 33432, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The committal will take place at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL, 33432, from 11:15 am to 11:45 am on the same day.
