Regina "Becky" A Minihane

Born on May 6, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York to James Vincent “Jimmy” Acernese and Anna (Manno) Acernese. Becky graduated from St. Joseph by the Sea High School, Staten Island, New York, in 1978 and after earning her RN diploma in 1981 from St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing, Manhattan, New York City, New York, went on to have a 38+ year career as a critical care nurse.

Becky and her childhood sweetheart, Kevin Joseph Minihane, were married on September 27, 1981 in Staten Island, New York. Their two children are Michael Vincent Minihane and Danielle Marie Wahrman. She is survived by her husband, two children and 5 grandchildren (with another grandchild due in April). She is also survived by her brother, Louis Thomas Acernese, and two sisters, Roseann Mary Kish and Annette Annmarie Mattice.

A visitation for Becky will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, Florida.

A mass will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 9:30 at St Ambrose Catholic Church, 380 S Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, Florida.
