It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robb Christian Imperato, 57, of Lighthouse Point, Florida. Robb will forever be remembered for his compassion, strength, laid back attitude, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends. His memory will live on through the love and devotion he shared with others, especially his beloved wife, Leah Imperato, and daughter, Ella Imperato.
Robb lived a meaningful life full of great times, laughter, and lots of love. He graduated high school from Boca Raton Academy in 1986 where he earned a spot in the athletic hall of fame for both football and soccer. His hard work and dedication led him to earn a position as a kicker on the East Carolina University Pirates football team. He spent 1986 to 1991 in Greenville, North Carolina, playing for ECU, having fun with his buddies, and working towards his degree in Construction Management. Upon graduation, he returned to Boca Raton and became a certified general contractor in the state of Florida, where he started his own construction business. In 1995 Robb met his wife, Leah. The two were an inseparable pair from the start. They got married in Boca Raton on November 18th, 2000. Two years later, they moved to Lighthouse Point, where Robb built their family home. The two shared wonderful memories in their home, alongside their daughter, Ella, who they lovingly welcomed on October 30, 2004. Robb adored being both a husband and father. His wife and daughter were blessed to have him in their lives and admired everything about him. They loved him more than words can say. Robb’s loyalty was evident to all who were lucky enough to know him, making him the true definition of a family man.
Robb was extremely hardworking, but he also knew how to have a great time. He loved spending quality time with the people he cared about and creating unforgettable memories with them by his side. Some of the things he enjoyed most were going out on his boat, taking a trip to the Keys or Bahamas, visiting with family and old friends, going on a Caribbean cruise, watching football, and hanging out by the pool with his family. Robb will be missed more than words can describe, but he will always be remembered and loved so very dearly.
