Rosalind Lang Davis

Rosalind (Roz) Lang Davis, age 76, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023. Originally from Brockton, MA, she moved to S. Florida in 1980 to raise her family. Rosalind gracefully embraced the roles of mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched the lives of: her daughter, Lisa Sage (Dan), son, Randy Davis (Shay), her two granddaughters, Jordan and Lilah Sage, her sisters Beverly Baran and Janis Price (Steven), cousin Susan Lang, nieces, nephew and her friends who were like family to her. She is predeceased by her father, Jerome Lang, mother Louise Lang (Koresky), step-mother, Margaret (Pegge) Lang and niece, Bethany Price. She loved her family fiercely.

Rosalind was not only an exceptionally skilled golfer who found joy on the green, but also a compassionate soul who dedicated her time to helping others. Her commitment shone brightly through her weekly volunteer work at a local food pantry, where her kindness and generosity made a lasting impact on the community. Prior to her retirement, she spent years as a Director of a Title Agency as well as a paralegal. She knew law practices like the back of her hand. Although she never received a formal law degree, she was always the one that family and friends turned to for legal advice.

Her children, grandchildren and family were her greatest joy.

She was always busy with a DIY home improvement project or creating beautiful works of art to share with family - especially her granddaughters. She had a knack for word games and took no prisoners during a spirited match of Boggle or Scrabble.

Her laughter, love, and incredible selflessness will be deeply missed, but the memories of her vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire us all.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Boca Helping Hands. A celebration of life will be held later this year.
