

Spangler nee Leech, Thelma Mae - 88, born May 23, 1924 in York PA, passed away October 25, 2012 in Boca Raton FL. She lived in York until 1964, when she and her husband Charles moved to Boca Raton. She worked at Florida Atlantic University for 25 years, mostly in the History Dept and she loved to travel through the US and Germany. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Boca Raton and was an avid collector of dolls, miniatures, figurines and other pretty items. She is survived by her husband Charles Edward Spangler, her son Michael L. (Karen) Spangler of Delray Beach FL and daughter Susan R. (Gerard) Esposito of Durham, NC. She is also survived by her grandson Kenneth (Erin) Esposito of Greensboro, NC and his children Angelena and Anthony and her granddaughter Christina (John) Esposito Brawley and her children John Carter and Ryan of Fairfax, VA. A Memorial Service will take place at Advent Lutheran Church 300 Yamato Road, Boca Raton on Tuesday, October 30th at 1pm. A reception will follow the service.
