One of my earliest memories of Papa was when he took me to hit golf balls.  I was so excited to show him how far I could hit the ball, unfortunately a few swings in a caught it a bit too heavy and there went papa's new titanium driver 50 yards down the range.  This was back when titanium drivers were a big deal, so I thought I was in a whole heap of trouble.  But Papa just smiled and laughed, he said he couldn't believe how far the driver head had gone.  That's the type of person my grandfather was, he was always so proud of us grand kids, even if we had done something you wouldn't think he could be proud of.

I will always remember Papa with a camera in his hand.  He used to have us take dozens of pictures any time the family was together.  To be honest it used to annoy me to no end, but I didn't understand.  I didn't understand how much he loved and cared about our family.  He saw each moment that we were all together as a moment to be cherished and remembered.  I hope I can one day become half the man that my grandfather was.  I love you and miss you Papa, and I will never forget what you meant to this family.

One Christmas Ted and I went golfing alone. I was just learning to play. We ended up playing an extra 9 holes together.it was a beautiful day together

I remember papa complementing me on how I've grown up to be a social butterfly and have grown up a bunch from the last time he has seen me.

Your Dad was a great guy to tell stories with and always a joy to be around. Remember, he always enjoyed life. So sad to hear his passing, the Kusmich's

To Anne's Daddy: I am so very lucky to have met you on several occasions but my favorite memory is of all of us boating down the Illinois River and getting caught in a pop up "crazy" storm that we all lived to laugh about :)  To the most fun loving caring giving family I have ever met we love you and are saying prayers for your comfort during this sorrowful time. I have a fond memory of dad celebrating my 50th birthday on a cruise to the Mexican Rivera. We had so much fun sightseeing, wearing funny hats and dressing up for dinner! I love you Dad! Kathy

My favorite memory of my Dad was when he would take me to the barber shop with him and the barber would always give me a sucker.I love you Dad!
