

Mr. Robinson was born in Brunswick County on October 17, 1939 and was son of the late Jesse Cromwell Robinson, Sr. and Ruth Roach Robinson. He was also predeceased by his siblings Marie McLamb, Jack Robinson, and Jesse Terry Robinson and also his first wife, Carolyn. Blondell spent most of his adult life on the water working for Norfolk Dredging for many years, owning a shrimp Boat, “The Miss Carolyn”, and also owning and operating Robinson & Robinson Seafood until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Robinson, of the home; children, Laura Patrice Jolley of Jacksonville, NC, Benjamin Keith Robinson of Asheville, NC, Colton Robinson (Audrey) of Varnamtown, NC, James Craig Lewis (Sondra) of Whiteville, NC, Lisa Varnam (Sammy) of Supply, NC, Kristi Cannon (Christopher) of Bolivia, NC; grandchildren, Lauren (Michael), Hunter (Madi), Colby (Kacey), Ashton (Sam), Easton (Blair), Ellen Amber, Tristan (Leilani), Fisher, Rylan, and Jase; great-grandchildren, Cannon, Linnie, Paisleigh, Sadie, Leighton, Piver, River, Navy, Aurora, James Finn, and Cadie Mae; brothers, Jesse Cromwell “Billy” Robinson, Jr. of Shallotte, NC, Mack Robinson of Minnesota, and Tommy Robinson of Supply, NC.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at three o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral Service, Bolivia Chapel, with Rev. Ricky Hewett officiating. Burial will follow in the Silent Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jay Howard Robinson, Colby Cannon, Easton Varnam, O’Brian Robinson, Tristan Lewis, and Michael St. George. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brent Robinson, Mark Galloway, Danny Galloway and Gary Galloway.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
