Danny Clint Peacock, 60, of Ash, NC, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2012. Danny was the son of the late Grover and Janie May Peacock. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Toby Peacock, and a sister, Janelle Fitzgerald. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jernigan Peacock, two sons; Skyler Wade Peacock of the home, and Jimmy Peacock of Odesa, TX, two daughters; Shannon Perkins, Melissa Tilman, both of Odesa,Tx, a brother, Kelly Peacock, a sister, Debbie Bayes, (husband Gary), and five granddaughters.
Danny was a member of Ash Free Will Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer, loved sports and politics, and was very active in a number of community efforts. He truly loved his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A memorial service was held at Coble Ward-Smith Supply Chapel on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 11:00AM.
