

She was the daughter of the late Henry N. Pedigo, Sr. and Louise Sykes Pedigo. Holly was also preceded in death by her brothers, James L. "Jim" Pedigo and Henry “Hank” N. Pedigo, Jr.
Holly grew up in Waverly Virginia where she graduated from Waverly High School, made lifelong friends and met the love of her life and husband of 62 years Ronald. As a child growing up in Waverly, VA Holly found her love of dance and followed her passion to New York City to study her craft. She later taught dance classes in Colonial Heights, VA. Eventually moving to Prince George, VA where they raised their family until retirement in 2003 when they moved to Brunswick County, NC and have resided since.
While in Prince George, Holly spent time volunteering at her children’s schools and later became an Aid to the Hearing Impaired at Walton Elementary School. She served on the County Planning Commission, was a member of the Jr. Woman’s Club and involved in the County Heritage Fair Events. After moving to North Carolina, Holly spent many hours volunteering at various Habitat Stores. She and Ronald enjoyed their gardens, antiquing, traveling to the beach, visiting historic sites and the company of their Westies.
She could do anything she set her mind to and once her children were older, she went back to school and became certified as an OR Technician, she worked for an Oral Surgeon in the Richmond Area and enjoyed the days spent in the Operating Rooms. She was artistic and creative, and most family members and friends have many forms of her crafts, artwork or needlework that will always bring smiles and remind them of her.
As a mother she was patient, loving and supportive and instilled in her children the true meaning of spirituality, kindness and love. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 62 years, Ronald P. Watson; three children, Alison W. Hanson (Freddie Gonzalez) of Prince George, VA, Noel P. Watson (Susan) of Prince George, VA and Sean P. Watson (Brandi) of Shallotte, NC; one grandchild, Marli Paige Watson, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family that she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends and family on Saturday September 14, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm followed by a memorial service at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, NC. A Celebration of Life will be held in Virginia at a later date.
