Joyce Ramsey Ruff

Mrs. Ruff was born in Greenback, TN on October 8, 1945 and was a daughter of the late Victor and Mae Ramsey. Joyce was a lifelong pet lover, a great cook and card player. Having a green thumb, she was a master gardener and collected cuttings wherever she went, and could make most anything grow. Mrs. Joyce enjoyed being active, especially outdoors, and was a creative and industrious lady. She was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Sigmon, and her two step-sons, Jodie Eugene Ruff and Mark Eliot Ruff.

Mrs. Ruff is survived by her husband of forty five years, Gene Ruff, and son, Matthew Ruff, both of Supply, NC; her brothers, Charles Ramsey of Greenback, TN, Lee Ramsey of Maryville, TN, and Wayne Ramsey of Greenback, TN; grandchild, Madison Ruff; and her fur baby Mick.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brunswick Islands Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, February 27, at 1:00pm with the Reverend Rudy Ramphal conducting the Celebration.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local SPCA or Spay/Neuter Clinic.
