Lillie Mae Holden

Lillie was a housewife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She mostly enjoyed cooking for her family. Family was everything to Lillie.

Lillie was born in Brunswick County, NC on May 3, 1935 and was daughter of the late Dave and Rill Gore Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny (J.T.) Holden; granddaughter, Breanne Holden; grandson, Trey Fulford; sisters, Anne Brown, Ida Arnold, Elizabeth Mills, Mary Sellers; brothers, Sam Johnson, John Johnson, Joe (Buddy) Johnson, Pete Johnson and Jim Johnson.

She is survived by children, Larry Holden (Tina) of Woodbine, NJ, Donna Holden Fulford (Fiancé Cliff) of Supply, NC and Johnny Holden, Jr. (Julie) of Supply, NC; grandchildren, Mark Thomas, Jr. (Erica), Corey Holden (Bethany), Lauren Shackelford (Theron), J.T. Holden, Drew Holden (Tela); great-grandchildren, Mark Thomas III (Kamryn), Kai Thomas, Lily Thomas, Easton Holden, Brayden Holden, Caydence Holden; great-great-grandchild, Brinley; brothers, William Johnson (Kay) and Steven Johnson (Cathy).

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 26 at twelve o’clock in the afternoon at Sabbath Home Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Hewett and Pastor Foyd Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends one hour before the service at Sabbath Home Baptist Church and other times at Lillie’s home, 2917 John T Holden Road SW, Supply, NC.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Johnson, Tim Johnson, Will Ivey, John Johnson, Sam Johnson and Joe Meckley. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Ivey, Jerry Benton, Danny Fulford and Joey Caison.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Sabbath Home Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 990 Sabbath Home Road, Supply, NC 28462
