Patricia Kincaid Nutter

She was born to the late John Kincaid Nutter and Betty Hanna Nutter on January 12, 1941 in Pittsburgh PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Phillip DeWitt Nutter, niece, Elizabeth Lewis, and nephew, James Maxwell.

Pat is survived by her step-mother, Joyce Crawford of Wilmington, NC; brothers, Wade Nutter (Marilyn) of Athens, GA, Michael Nutter (Janet) of Murray, KY; nieces, Jamie Ketner (Michael), Susan Manthey (Keith), Lindsay Schlichting (Mark) all of Atlanta, GA, Michelle Hansen of Murray, KY, Stacy Yunic (Scott) of Leechburg, PA, Heather Berkoben of Verona, PA; nephews, Scott Nutter (Alice) of Cincinnati, OH, Brian Nutter (Debbie) of Elizabeth, CO.

Pat graduated from North Allegheny High School in 1959 in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. She was an LPN graduate of Passavant School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. Pat has been a resident of the Supply, NC community since 1986. Prior to that, she lived in Philadelphia, Hawaii, Miami and Jackson, MS where she worked in various departments of several hospitals before moving to Brunswick County.

She continued her education and training to become an RN for the different fields she pursued. She worked as a Pediatric Nurse and was proud to have delivered many babies in Brunswick County. She was a Diabetes Educator before her retirement from health care. Pat would care for elderly folks that needed a hand with daily tasks around the house. She loved camping, sailing, woodworking, being in her shop making bird feeders for friends, and selling at the church bazaar for special projects. Never far away were her pets, both dogs and cats.

For years, Pat was active in the choir and ministries of the Seaside United Methodist Church in Sunset Beach, NC.
