Mr. Jones was born May 15, 1941 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, son of the late Alburtus Jones and Dorothy Vennell Jones. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Jones' favorite things to do were talking and eating. He worked several years at Smithfield's Chicken and BBQ where he met many new friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Jones, Jr.; sister, Ethel Mozza.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jones of Supply; children, Ronald Jones and wife Chrystal, Joyce Marie Biggs and husband Ken, Stacy Thomas and husband Billy, Michelle Geihler and husband Bill, Wendy Moore and husband Jamie, and Cindy Thomas and husband John; one brother, Allen Jones; one sister, Dorothy O'Brien; 21 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
