Mr. Scoggins was born in Durham, N.C. on February 25, 1950 and was son of the late Walter Leo Scoggins and Lillian Bryant Scoggins. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and retired truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Wagner and Robert Williams.
He is survived by two children, Leslie Scoggins and wife Leslie of Supply, Amanda Tennant and husband, John of Supply; four grandchildren, Leslie, Jerome, Maddox and Sadie; two sisters, Mary Frances Lehue of Holden Beach and Jill Cummings of Pikeville, N.C.
In honor of Mr. Scoggins wishes, no services will be held.
