Shelby Phelps Simmons

She was born in Brunswick County, NC on June 4, 1938 the daughter of the late, Elbert Phelps and Gertie Fulford Phelps

Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Simmons of 62 years, also a son-in-law, Sammy Frink; and a sister, Faye Dickerson.

Surviving are a son, Gary Simmons; two daughters, Carolyn Smigiel and husband, Kenneth and Pam Frink all of Supply; seven grandchildren, Wendy Bell, Daniel Simmons, Tabitha Hardee, Tara Haviland, Emily Smigiel, Chad Frink and Kayla Frink; eleven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday February 17, 2023 at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway East Bolivia. Burial will follow in Silent Grove Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Gary Simmons, 1589 Shelby Lane, SW Supply.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Simmons, Tyler Simmons, Garrison Simmons, Kenny Smigiel, Noah Haviland and Shane Hardee.
