

Born in Charlotte, NC on the twenty-seventh of December, 1936 to the late Harry Bernard and Anne Buckley Curtis. Mr. Curtis was a retired systems analyst with Sperry Univac /Unisys company after thirty plus years of service. After retiring and permanently moving to Holden Beach, Ted began working at The Founders Club in St. James Plantation to be closer to the game he loved. He was a longtime member of the Holden Beach Chapel and will be remembered for his unending sense of humor and his deep love of family especially the grandchildren. Ted was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Robin” Curtis.
Surviving are his loving wife of fifty-three years, Betty Curtis; a son Jeffrey Curtis and wife Lori of Waxhaw, NC; a daughter, Lisa May and husband Chris of Stallings, NC; a brother, Harry Curtis and wife Bonnie of Scottsdale, AZ and six wonderful grandchildren, Abigail Bell and husband Brad, Grey Curtis, Holden Curtis, Rebecca May, Allison May and Misty May.
A Celebration of Life will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the first of April, 2017 in the Holden Beach Chapel with the Reverend Dr. John Gray officiating.
