Trudy Smith

Ms. Smith was born in Germany on May 12, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Henry and Elisabeth Killatt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wayne B. Smith. Trudy was a faithful member of Sabbath Home Baptist Church where she served in many capacities and was instrumental in establishing the Family Life Center. She was Vice President of Wayne B. Smith Construction for many years. Trudy was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two children, David Smith and wife Terri of Supply and Wendy Day and husband Wayne of Supply; six grandchildren, Derek Day, Drake Day, Devin Day, Travis Smith, Justin Smith and Raechell Smith; nine great grandchildren, Emery Day, Cali Day, Bentley Day, Renly Day, Ensly Smith, Brendan Day, Ryder Day, Evie Day and Lauren Smith.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 25, 2025 at twelve o'clock noon at Sabbath Home Baptist Church with Reverend Rory Thigpen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Devin Day, Drake Day, Derek Day, Travis Smith, Justin Smith and Clyde Hiatt.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
