

He was the owner/operator of Bill’s Wrecker Service for many years. Prior to his wrecker service, Billy worked many years with Atkinson Dredging and in the logging industry. He actually built his first wrecker from a logging truck. Billy collected Model A cars, Model T trucks and tractors which he enjoyed working on.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Maggie Clemmons; brothers, James Clemmons and Jerry Clemmons; sister, Linda Hardwick; son in-law, Fred Cayer.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Clemmons; daughters, Juanita Cayer and Tamy Clemmons (Johnnie Clay Smith); brother, Charles Clemmons (Shirley); sister, Judy Dudney (Kent); grandchildren, Amanda Wooten, Mollie Rutledge (Bill), Shanna Bellows; numerous great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews; dear friend, Bobby Crissman.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 6, 2022, at three o’clock in the afternoon at Galloway West Cemetery and will be officiated by Rev. Anthony Clemmons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, act.alz.org.
