William Gebhardt Lamprecht

Mr. Lamprecht was born December 15, 1939, son of the late William and Sarah Walsh Lamprecht. He and his wife moved to California in 1987 where he worked in the computer industry. Mr. Lamprecht retired and moved to North Carolina in 2002. After retirement he worked for the New Hanover County School system for 10 years as a bus driver where he enjoyed working with children of all ages. Mr. Lamprecht enjoyed spending time with his family, close friends and his four canine companions; Lady, Shelby, Casey, and Liberty, who brought him great joy and happiness. He was preceded in death by his children, Richard, Veronica, and Jennifer.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Carol Lamprecht of Leland; one son, William Lamprecht of Westwood, New Jersey; sister Rosemary Lamprecht of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; brother, Michael Lamprecht and wife Rose Mary of North Arlington, New Jersey; and sister, Catherine Correa and husband John of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and 2 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Lamprecht’s close friends and family on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 6pm at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 603 Ocean Highway, Supply, North Carolina.
