

Adelaida M. Soriano, 80, of San Diego was born in Pangasinan, Philippines on December 16, 1935. She entered heaven's gate on February 5, 2016. She was one of nine children born to the late Severo and Margarita Maneclang.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of over 40 years, Renato P. Soriano. Adelaida is survived by her son, Cesar M. Soriano and his wife Anne, granddaughters, Meghan and Ava, Sisters Priscilla, Linda, and Natividad along with her loving relatives and friends who were blessed to know her.
Adelaida earned an A.B. in Psychology from Far Eastern University and a B.S. in Medical Technology from Centro Escolar University. She retired from the Pathology Department of the University of California San Diego Medical Center.
She was a generous and caring wife, mom, sister, and grandmother. Adelaida always cared more for everybody else first. She loved good food, and enjoyed fishing, cooking and gardening, and had a presence that could light up a room.
Services for Adelaida M. Soriano will by Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary. The Visitation will be held at the Little Chapel of the Roses located at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary in Bonita, California, on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will also be held at Little Chapel of the Roses located at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary in Bonita, California, on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
