Alice "Priscilla" Morris

Alice Lolita Roads, 98 of Chula Vista died October 17, 2023. in Poway, California.

She was born in Lockport Illinois in 1925 to Hal and Cora Roads. Although she was legally Alice her mother decided after she came home from the hospital that she would always be her Priscilla. Priscilla attended Joliet Township High School. After high School Priscilla moved to Washington state to work on the Manhattan Project. It was here she met and married Silas “Sandy” Morris, the love of her life. Priscilla was preceded in Death by Sandy and her grandson David Morris Jr. She is survived by her children Susan and Jeff Collingwood, David and Carole Morris, Michael and Marsha Morris, Peter and Peggy Morris and Priscilla Collingwood. Additionally, she is survived by eight Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren. Priscilla was a long-time member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chula Vista and was a Worthy Matron in the Eastern Star of Chula Vista.

A visitation for Priscilla will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 6, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A committal service will occur Monday, November 6, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A reception will occur Monday, November 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
