Amalia Nadal Magana, the widow of Tirso Dadios Magana was born October 28, 1934 and transitioned from this world on Tuesday April 12, 2022. Amalia was a native of San Juan Kalayaan, Laguna Philippines. She was the daughter of the late Juan DelRio and Rosario Nadal DelRio. She was the youngest sibling of thress all preceded in death - Teynaldo Fadrigalan (deceased brother) and Jose Fadrigalan (deceased brother).
Amalia and Tirso married on October 9, 1953 in Santa Cruz, Laguna Philippines at the Iglesia Ni Cristo Chapel. Tirso was in the navy for 27 years and was an E7 (Chief Petty Officer) and retired and settled and made Mira Mesa their home. They were one of the original Filipino families in Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). This is the reason why many of Amalia's family stayed and made Mira Mesa their home as well
Amalia and Tirso were loving and devoted parents of John DelRio Magana, who they adopted on January 16, 1974. Amalia was known or called by the family as Lola Mely or Ate Mely.
Amalia and Tirso were active members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. The family loved to go bowling and they taught their son how to bowl. Til now, John is a great bowler.
Her son, John and countless grandchildren, cousins and many relatives survive Amalia. She will truly be missed
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.glenabbeysandiego.net for the Magana family.
