

Amando was raised with six siblings. He had brothers, Santiago and Jose, and sisters, Natividad, Tarcila, Virginia and Carolina. Amando was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many special life experiences over the years.
Amando exchanged wedding vows with his sweetheart Juliana P. Guanzon in Bataan, Philippines. Empathic and loyal, Amando was committed to making his new family happy.
Amando worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Amando was blessed with six children, three sons, Danilo, Norberto and Jose, and daughters Merlina, Rosita and Nelia. He always ensured that the needs of his family came first. This was a quality that defined him.
Fortunately, Amando enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Amando worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was in farming. He worked for over 30 years and was the model farmer. Amando always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Amando passed away on September 3, 2010 in National City, California due to pneumonia. He is survived by his children Norberto, Jose, Nelia, Merlina and Rosita. Services were held at Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel on September 10, 2010. Amando was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Amando was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and devoted father as well as a respected member of the community. He was a vital part of everyone's lives. Amando leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Amando O. Crisostomo.
