

Ana Li wayway(meaning Sunrise) Schultz found her much deserved peace September 1, 2013 at the age of 54. She was born July 9, 1959 in Manila, Philippines. Ana moved to San Diego in 1981 and was married to David Roberts, they divorced. Ana was remarried to Michael Schultz on June 3, 2000 and remained until her demise.
Ana suffered from acute Cardiopulmonary Arrest and Acute Respiratory failure which may have been caused by a Fungus (Scedosporium) infection contacted a year or so earlier. Ana was a successful transplant recipient. In spite of it all, Ana so courageously had a full, rich, loving and accomplished live.
She graduated from Olongapo City Nat’l High School, PI in 1980. In the early 1980’s, she received training and was certified in different aspects of Enterprise/ Network Software. She worked as an IT professional for the Navy before retiring after 15 years of service in 2004. Ana loved to travel, cook and socialize. She was very loyal to her family; she assisted her mother and brother (and children) in immigrating and succeeding in the United States. She was proud of her Filipino heritage and appreciated her US citizenship. Her friendly and kind manner has created an ENORMOUS circle of endearing friends.
Ana is survived by: Husband: Michael Schultz, Brother: Reynaldo Cruz, Wife Ruth, Children Michael, Rhonald and Dennierick Brother: Lamberto De Guzman, Wife Sarah, Children Limbert and Loubert Anne. Many Nieces and Nephews in the Philippines.
