

She was the daughter of John and Mary Brown. Bertha was raised with six siblings, Margie, Lorine, Robert, Eugene, Norman and Maynerd.
On August 8, 1958 Bertha exchanged wedding vows with Joe T. Kilpatrick. Empathic and loyal, Bertha was committed to making her new family happy.
Fortunately, Bertha enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Bertha worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was working as a telephone operator. She was employed for 35 years by AT&T.
She is survived by her children, Mike Kilpatrick and Shanna Wannamaker; her grandchildren Summer Kilpatrick, Dusty Kilpatrick, Tiffany Kilpatrick, Mikey Kilpatrick, Jimmy Kilpatrick, Chris Wannamaker, Corey Wannamaker and Dylan Wannamaker; her daughter-in-law Lynnett Kilpatrick and her son-in-law Mike Wannamaker. Services were held at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Bertha was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Bertha was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Bertha leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Bertha K. Kilpatrick.
