

Betty L. Logan was born on September 7, 1928 in Delware, Ohio. She was the daughter of Charlie Lucas and Goldie Irene Lucas. Betty was raised in Delware with two siblings. She had one brother, Edward Lucas and one sister, Hazel Bayless.
On October 17, 1953 Betty exchanged wedding vows with her sweetheart Hughey Eugene Logan in New Port, Rhode Island. Betty and Hughey shared many happy and loving years of marriage.
Betty worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. She and Hughey were blessed with eight children, Renee Logan, Hughey E. Logan III, Dewayne Logan, Pamela Logan- Gray, Dion Bean, Eric Logan, Latisha Moss, and Janie Logan- Bell. Another blessing for Betty was the gift of nineteen grandchildren, Monica, Michell, Melissa, Crystal, Alexandria, Jasmine, Angela, Aaliyah, T.J., Charles, Michael, Ashienele, Elenrisha, Erica, Eric, Ethan, Joey, Corey and Jeffrey.
Sadly, Betty passed away on February 13, 2011. She is survived by her loving children Renee Logan, Hughey E. Logan III, Dewayne Logan, Pamela Logan- Gray, Dion Bean, Eric Logan, Latisha Moss and Janie Logan- Bell; her grandchildren, Monica Logan, Michell Logan, Melissa Logan, Crystal Logan, Alexandria Logan, Jasmine Logan, Angela Hughes, Aaliyah Moss, T.J. Moss, Charles Bean II, Michael Bean, Ashienele Valdez, Elenrisha Valdez, Erica Logan, Eric Logan, Ethan Logan, Joey Moss, Corey Bell and Jeffrey Masi; as well as many other family members and friends. Services were held at The Little Chapel of the Roses on February 23, 2011. Betty was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Betty was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Betty leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Betty L. Logan.
