Carmelita De Jesus Borgonia, age 91, passed away on December 10, 2025. Carmelita was born in Manila, Philippines on July 16, 1934, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who centered her life around family and close friends. Carmelita worked at Family Loompya and Barnes-Hinds before retiring. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, Elpidio, gardening together and traveling to the Philippines to visit family. She took great joy in helping raise her grandchildren, Junior and Alysha. Carmelita was also known for her exceptional cooking, with family and friends each having a favorite dish lovingly prepared by her. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn; her son, Edwin; her daughter-in-law, Joan; and her grandchildren, Roland, Jr. and Alysha.
Carmelita will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, warmth, and devotion to her family.
