In her childhood, Carmen loved being raised by her grandmother Luisa and living on her grandmother's farm and tending to the animals.
In her early 20's, she found she really enjoyed dancing. She loved orchestra and Big Bands. She once won a 72 hour dancing marathon.
She also enjoyed motherhood, coffee, knitting, birds, gardening, word search and horchata.
She had eight children and is survived by the following children, grand children and great grand children.
Son, Mario (Ascencion) Diaz. Grand children, Juan Antonio Diaz, Mario Diaz Limon, Paloma Crystal Diaz, Christina Nicole Diaz, Eduardo Manuel Diaz, Mario Alberto Diaz, Alexis Germain Diaz and great grand child Heison Diaz.
Daughter Lourdes Macias, son in law, Raul Macias Sr., grand children, Raul Macias Jr. and Veronica Macias.
Daughter Hazel Marie Jackson, son in law Pazel Gregory Jackson III, and grand daughter Kaelyn Marie Epps.
Grand daughter Caroline Sanchez, Great grandchildren Derryck Gray and Kitana Alina Gray
