With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Clara Gestopa on February 24, 2025, at the age of 91. Clara was born on August 12, 1933, in Cebu, Philippines, where she spent her early years receiving a degree in Accounting. In 1960, she bravely embarked on a new chapter, moving to the United States to build a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
Clara was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Laura Gestopa Bay, Celia Gestopa Sardina, and Monica Gestopa Reyes. Her love extended to her seven beloved grandchildren: Harris Bay, Soren Bay, Alec Gestopa, Rita Sardina, Marlo Reyes, Dominic Reyes, and Lilia Reyes, all of whom she adored and showered with warmth, wisdom, and affection.
She shared a beautiful life with her husband, Guillermo Gestopa, until his passing on July 3, 2021. Though she deeply missed him, she found joy in her family and playing Bingo. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.
Clara's legacy of love, resilience, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished
