

Conchita de Leon Sevilla was born on February 22nd, 1920. She first greeted the world in Valenzuela City, Philippines. Her parents' names were Mateo de Leon and Rufina Madarog. Growing up for Conchita was an involving experience. It allowed her to learn and grow and create all kinds of fond memories.
Conchita was raised in Valenzuela City with nine siblings. She had four brothers named Alfredo, Armando, Marcos and Serafin and five sisters named Salvadora, Remedios, Duding, Francisca and Encarnacion. She and her siblings shared many special life experiences over the years.
As a young woman, Conchita met and fell in love with her sweetheart, Jose Cazcarro Sevilla. She and Jose happily exchanged wedding vows on July 27th, 1947 at the Iglesia Filipina Independiente in Maria Clara, Philippines. With empathic and loyal hearts, the two shared many loving years of marriage.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Conchita worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Conchita was blessed with three children, sons, Jose D. Sevilla, Jr., Dr. Marianito D. Sevilla and Nestor D. Sevilla. She worked hard toward raising her children in a positive and nurturing environment.
Conchita was later blessed with the gift of six grandchildren, Emmanuel Joseph A. Sevilla, John Paul A. Sevilla, Krystal Ashley Q. Sevilla, Nastasha G. Sevilla, Austin G. Sevilla and Cedric G. Sevilla.
How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Fortunately, Conchita enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Conchita worked diligently and did her best to succeed in each of her jobs. While she worked several jobs over her lifetime, Conchita’s primary occupation was working as a Business Retailer. Before WWII, Conchita was employed as a Practical Nurse. Later in life, she spent some time as a homemaker and caregiver and then worked for Van Camp Seafood Company in San Diego, California.
Conchita enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities, including traveling and fishing. Time away on vacations gave Conchita a chance to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. She also enjoyed spending time with the Senior Group of National City USA where she proudly received her most memorable award of "Most Outstanding Mother".
Conchita Sevilla left us on April 15th, 2011. She passed away at Paradise Valley Hospital in National City, California due to heart disease. She is survived by her loving children Jose D. Sevilla, Jr. and wife Filomena Quilope, Dr. Marianito D. Sevilla and wife Dr. Carmelita Albarillo, Nestor D. Sevilla and wife Yolanda de Guzman; her grandchildren Emmanuel Joseph Sevilla, John Paul Sevilla, Krystal Sevilla, Tasha Sevilla, Austin Sevilla and Cedric Sevilla; sister Remedios and family; sister-in-law Nemencia de Leon and family; as well as many other loved ones and friends. A funeral service was held on April 25, 2011 at the Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel in Bonita, California. Conchita was laid to rest at La Vista Memorial Park in National City, California.
