Daniel R. Cobler

Dan Cobler blessed our lives on Easter Sunday, April 19, 1981 and passed away January 1, 2016.

Dan is survived by his mother Steffanie, father Bill Cobler, brother David Cobler (Danyell), step father Bill Cory, grandmothers Shirley Sechler and Grace Cobler, grandfather Leslie Sechler (Luzana Sechler), Aunt Paula, Uncles Jeff Sechler (Martha) and Cliff Sechler, niece Haylee and cousins Krista, Kyle, Steven and Sarah.

Dan was born in San Diego and graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 1999 where he started on the varsity football team. In college he majored in Computer Science.

He loved working with people, had a fun sense of humor, was generous, kind and had an easy smile that immediately put people at ease. He was a genuine human being that placed his family and friends first in his life. He was an adventurer that enjoyed physical challenges such as kayaking, hiking, desert biking, surfing and recently skydiving. He also enjoyed traveling with trips to Italy, Hawaii and Mexico.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, January 17 at Chapel of the Roses at the Glen Abbey Cemetery Park, 3838 Bonita Rd, Bonita, CA 91902 at 10 a.m. with reception to follow.
