

David Lawrence Schultz was born on October 20, 1970 in his home city of Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He was the son of Daniel Lawrence Schultz and Jonna Lyn Uhr. David spent the majority of his life living in San Diego, California.
David was raised with one sibling. He had sister, Lisa. David was usually involved in all sorts of activities with sister. He and Lisa experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many special life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, David had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Montgomery High School. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.
David also enjoyed his college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but David was able to manage the balancing act. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
Fortunately, David enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, David worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was in management for the grocery business. He was employed for many years by both Ralphs Grocery Stores and the Navy Commissary. David always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
David passed away on August 18, 2010 in La Mesa, California due to Chronic Pancreatitis. He is survived by his father, Daniel Schultz; step mother, Debbie Santori; sister, Lisa Ayala; nieces, Alissa and Amanda Ayala; aunts, Linda Santjer and Susan Lowery; cousin, Jessica Lowery; and grandfather, John Uhr. Services were held at The Little Chapel of the Roses on August 29, 2010. David was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, David was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. David leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember David Lawrence Schultz.
