

Dominic Pak Wai Ho, 64 has peacefully passed away on April 18, 2022 surrounded by close family and dear friends in person and via video conferencing. A kind, caring brother and uncle is survived by 7 siblings: John, Peter, Alan, Robin, Robert, Maria and Joan; 7 brother and sister in-laws : Julian, Kuo-Fen, Pamela, Linda, Stella, Cathy and Mary ; 9 nephews: Philip, Stephen, Andrew, Peter, Michael, Eric, Patrick, Jeffery and Ernest; and 9 nieces: Fanny, Carman, Betty, Joyce, Lily, Dorothy, Eudoria, Mary-Elizabeth and Teresa-Mary.
Dominic was born and raised in Hong Kong. He immigrated to Honolulu, Hawaii as a teenager. He attended Roosevelt High School and obtained his technical education in computer science and electronics engineering at Leeward Community College.Dominic worked in the IT sector at IBM, GE, Corner Periphery and Roms as an IT Engineering Technician in the Silicon Valley before retirement in San Diego. He generously shared his passion for computer technology, music and photography to bring love, joy and healing to families, colleagues and friends.
Dominic is respected for his compassion, humbleness, patience, perseverance and generosity in sharing his time, talents and wealth. His Godly devotion is exemplified by his close walk with Jesus. Dominic worked, served and volunteered his time and talents at St. Therese of Carmel, San Diego Chinese Catholic Community and local libraries where he had lovingly touched the lives of many young people and their families. Dominic's caring attitude and works of kindness had made lasting impact in the hearts of all those who knew him.
A Memorial Mass In Dominic's Loving Memory was dedicated at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum in San Diego on Friday, May 20, 2022. A Final Committal Mass for Dominic will be streamed live at St. Therese of Carmel on July 17, 2022 at 5:30pm. Dominic's final resting place of Committal with his beloved parents Tat Foo Ho and Ngan Fong Wong Ho will be at Oak Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum in San Jose. A Catholic Funeral Mass of Celebration of Life Tribute will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 3pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 405 Ballard St. El Cajon, Ca 92019. In Lieu of flowers, kind offerings to Dominic’s causes so dear to his heart will be appreciated.
